The Yemeni Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy announced that its forces were able to intercept and drop two drone aircraft launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Sana’a towards civilian and civilian targets in Khamis Mushayt.
“The process of intercepting and dropping the two hostile planes resulted in the fall of shrapnel and parts of a residential neighborhood, resulting in damage to one of the residential buildings with minor damage and some vehicles, without any casualties,” the spokesman of the coalition forces Colonel Turki al-Maliki said.
He added that the attempts by the Huthi-backed terrorist militia to deliberately target civilians reflect its bankruptcy and immoral approach. These repeated terrorist and hostile attacks are systematic to target civilians in clear and explicit violation of international humanitarian law.
He stressed the continued leadership of the joint forces of the coalition to carry out deterrent measures against these terrorist militias and to neutralize the Houthi capabilities and in strict accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
